History

Key Club International, also called Key Club, is an international service organization for high school students. As a student-led organization, Key Club's goal is to encourage leadership through serving others. Since its inception on May 7th of 1925, Key Club has been empowering students through the pillars of service and leadership with its parent organization; Kiwanis.

Our Key Club was chartered on January 31st of 2003. Since then, we have been one of the largest clubs at our school and have been committed to helping the community through the empowerment of service and leadership in local events. Coral Reef Key club is always partnering with the Kiwanis Club of Kendall- South Dade for service projects that are fundamental to the well-being of our community's development.

In addition to working with KCKSD, our club is a part of Division 26B of Zone K which is a part of the Florida Key Club District which also charters the Cayman Islands and Turks and Caiços. The Florida Key Club District has an executive district board as well as a Lieutenant Governor (LTG) for each Division. Our LTG for the 2023-2024 Service Year is Alyssa Amador and she will be hosting Divisional Council Meetings within the service year (April to April) to check in with clubs in Division 26B. Throughout the service year, there are also several events hosted such as the Key Club Kick-Off Conference, Spring Zone Rally, DCON( District Education and Leadership Convention), and ICON (International Convention).

We are so excited for the upcoming service year and can't wait to get in touch with prospective members. Always remember; we appreciate any helping hand to our cause of community service as Caring is our way of life.

Yours in Service and Friendship,

Coral Reef Key Club Board
